Guest Speaker: Ruth Schroeter
Originally from the UK, Ruth came to Sydney in 2011 for one year and accidentally stayed. She currently serves at St Andrew’s Cathedral as an assistant minister and thinks there is nothing better than opening the Bible with women of all backgrounds and seeing what God has to say about life, the universe and everything.

St John’s Speaker: Susan Thorp

Susan joined St John’s a few years ago with husband Grant and sons Tom and Hamish, where she enjoys the warm community and biblical teaching. Susan helps to host a Bible study group and adds to the music and prayer in services. She is constantly delighted, confronted and stumped by the revelation of God in the Bible.

St John’s Speaker: Yvette Walker

Yvette has been a serving member at St John’s for 11 years. During this time Yvette and her husband Nick have raised 3 children (10, 7, 2). God has convicted Yvette to serve in welcoming ministries, Bible study leading and discipling younger women. She loves to witness the life changing work of God’s word in people's lives.

Workshop Presenter: Sandy Templeton

A friend brought Sandy to St Johns 20 years ago, and heard the bible preached with such clarity and conviction that she decided to stay.. Since then Sandy has embraced the numerous opportunities to serve at St Johns in music, children's ministry , scripture, bible study, choir, making the odd meal or cup of tea, massaging sick friends and most recently partnering with other elders in the church to focus on women's ministry. Sandy remembers her grandfather Ambrose encouraging her it would be a good idea to read the bible everyday. Finally at the age of 52 she started to do just that.

Workshop Presenter: Christine Ho

Christine is a member of our 6.30pm congregation where she leads welcoming and a small group. She is a speech therapist who loves working with kids. She has a passion to share God’s word with anyone available and especially keen to meet 1-1 with other women.
