Kids Church (KAOS)
Kids Church is KAOS by name and nature. Kids Activities on Sunday is made up of a creche, pre-school group, Years K-2 and Years 3-5. We run KAOS during both our 10am services. We also have a TOAST group which meets during both services, for those in Year 6-9.
Bravo
3:30-5pm each Friday afternoon in school terms. We are hoping to be able to collect children from Maroubra Bay Public School at 3pm and walk them up the hill to St Johns for BRAVO. Please indicate if this is a service you would like. At this stage we can't offer this at Maroubra Junction PS but hope to in the future. $12 per Friday or $100 per term.
Kids Club
St John’s Kids Club is a major community event! It happens in the first week of the July school holidays and attracts about 150 kids over the week. Its centrepiece is a fun and gospel-teaching drama, and its outer fringes are found in pieces of craft and crazy games!
Newsong Playgroup
Newsong Music Playgroup is for adults and little ones aged 0-5. It runs on Monday mornings during school term, from 10am-11:30am. $5/week for each family, or $30 a term. BYO food for little ones, morning tea provided for adults. Newsong involves free play, musical activities with Christian songs and kids songs across a range of genres, puppets, bubbles, dancing and parachute.
SRE (Special Religious Education)
Our accredited teachers teach each week in our local primary and high schools. We teach at Maroubra Bay and Maroubra Junction Public Schools. We also teach at Randwick Boys and Girls High Schools. Families can sign up for Scripture by contacting their school office.
