Demystifying Hospitality

About the Speaker

Daryl is married to Liss and has two children – Isaac and Evvy, and a dog named Honey May (yes she has a middle name).  As a family they love camping, exploring the bush, going to the beach and road trips. Their home is frequently filled with music and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. After the Lord brought Daryl to faith 20 years ago, he has journeyed through the world of Marketing, University Ministry, Parish and more recently Schools ministry - both as a high school teacher and now as a School Chaplain. For the past 8 years he has had the joyful privilege of sharing God’s word with those in his school community at Mosman Prep.

About the Workshop:

Food, glorious food! Is it that simple? What lies at the heart of hospitality and what might it look like in our homes?
Do we need to redefine and demystify what hospitality means in our everyday lives?
Does it have to involve a lavish meal that causes stress and exhaustion?

Is it too outlandish to think that hospitality could encourage us in the faith, bless those around us and be invitational to the lost: to taste and see that the Lord is good!?

Come along to hear from Daryl on how to make hospitality easy and how to involve each member of your family in extending Jesus’ love to those you know from school, daycares, your neighbourhood, your friends and extended family. You will have the opportunity to share and discuss ideas, and to encourage one another.
Let’s demystify together!
Jesus says, “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God” (Luke 14:15)

The workshop is open to all as we all have homes, and we all have connections with others.

Come!
